this weekend has been a great weekend outing! last week was not too bad too because i cycled and bladed with jas and her derek and my diving kaki jonathan at ecp.. (:
was half dead when i woke up early in the morning yeaterday because the night before was watching germany v argentina and was screaming like mad when germany won the penalty hehe. GERMANY!!!!!!!! Soccer + Red Wine + 1.5 bowl of peanuts + lots of screaming + breathing 2nd hand smoke in the pub = bad for my throat.
yesterday had a blast racing around Singapore with bird and ah pek for RACE4 dry run. it was 2 teams racing against each other which is erm quite duh. hahaha. met the race ppl for dry run at 9.30am at xxx mrt station. waited for the rest to appear and we started to race at 10.15am sharp. according to my fren who participated in the race last year, she managed to get free rides from taxis! amazing rite. and so i looked precariously at the only taxi at the taxi stand at 10.15am, confronted bird that we can really hitch a ride from the cab. so we tried. using a standard phrase, we managed to HITCH A TAXI to the first check point. ((((: and soooo.... we had a GREAT HEADSTART for the race!
along the way we managed to hitch a couple of taxis, including a merz cab.. and some family cars.. although didn't get to do the tasks, had a fun time racing with good company! i miss the Uniquely Singapore Race! poor ah pek race with me and bird, we don't eat along the way.. he was nagging at us that he want this food that food.. hahaha.. and we were all imagining if our dear hippo was with us yesterday! i think the race would have been more fun!!! we really missed you jan!!!! weather yesterday: blazing hot day. buckets of perspiration trickling down my back and nose. zzz. smelly smelly girl at the end point. and... we ended before the matches began but i cldn't last past halftime of England and Portugal!! but was dreaming that my bro told me Brazil v France 0 - 1. I thought i was dreaming but my brother actually talked to me and i replied him??!!??!!
today's weather: another blazing hot day w/o wind. today's route wasn't as fun as yesterday because there wasn't the motivation to get from 1 chkpoint to the other when travelling with a big group. tends to be more reliant on others to get to the place while we(me and bird) just DECIPHER the clue, instead of doing both. reminds me of the kids central cartoon "Blue's Clues" haha. yesterday was feeling independent. we pretended like we really got no phones, no money, no bus guide and street directory (we did fished it out after that because we are suppose to start the race w/o any of these guides and because we are still unfamiliar with places in singapore) and... ah pek was pretending to be really useless like he doesn't know anything (although his facial expression gave him away) while we were figuring out the clues.
and i gave chilli crab up with parents today just to walk the dry run today. silly me! but silly darren because he said he's going to treat me to chilli crabbb!!!! wahahahaha. darren low u cant run away with the chilli crabs cos i'm going to chase u for them! *rubs tummy* yummy chilli crabs soon!
next 2 days will be away for OAC camp dry run! foresee to be very very busy the whole of july: yesterday and tmr was race dry run; tmr and day after is camp dry run; prep for OAC camp after that; wkend outing with rhino; nxt wk mon - thur actual OAC camp; fri - sun openwater dive; nxt nxt fri is actual race event which i can only help out for 1st day; sat - mon Student Mentorship Programme (SMP) camp; after that is prep for matriculation fair; then is matriculation fair 31july - 3aug; prep for main comm retreat; actual retreat; module bidding ------> school starts!
looking forward to dry run! afternoon: station master with weisan! (: evening --> night trek with only ah pek in the forest as the front scouts. prays ah pek will be nice to me and ti liang my ever so slow trekking speed. haha. day 2: slacking arnd..(: my fav. and handing over. looking forward to relieve the load that i've been carrying on myself for far too long.

to all arts students out there. Module Preference Exercise starts tomorrow! can't wait to do this exercise so that my programme account can start to accumulate points.
